Does anyone know where the application center is on the Curve? My fiance' just got her Curve today and we want to download AppWorld but Application Center appears not to be on her phone for some reason. She has MetroPCS.

My Curve did not have the Application Center either. App World can be downloaded with the browser. On the BlackBerry browser, to go Download BlackBerry App World

Yes, I found that. Thank you for this. I don't even know how to check which OS she has on her phone. On my Storm I just click Options and the About. Her phone does not have About. IF you can point me in the right direction there, I would be much obliged.

Which Curve does she have? I have the 8330 and it shows the OS by going to Options > About.

Edit... it looks like MetroPCS sells the red 8330. Is that what she has? Try going to Options > Advanced Options > Applications. Look down the list at BlackBerry Core Applications It will probably show 4.5.0. App World should work just fine on it.

Well here is the thing. She is trying to find everything. There is no downloads folder. She installed Myspace and now there are two icons. Yes she has the 8330. But she cannot find the Downloads folder and she read everything off to me. She is telling me all this on skype and trying to show me on cam, but the screen is too bright for me to see. Since I have the Storm, it is hard for me to help her better. Darn phone didn't even come with a book. Just a getting started pamphlet with all the basics about the phone. I am trying to find everything I can on the 8330 but I am truly at a loss. This is her first smart phone.

There is no downloads folder. The app icons all go on the same screen with the preinstalled apps. She should read the help on the device. Also the BBFAQ link in my sig. The manual is on the cd that came with the phone and it can be downlpoaded from RIMs site.
