The link in the first page seems to be leading to the old AT&T software. Anybody know how we can go about getting the new software? j/k-jk
Perhaps Ritalin isn't overprescribed after all...

If that was aimed at me, I was just poking fun at the overabundance of people clicking the link on the first page and posting blindly without reading the rest of the thread. ADHD is apparently in full effect today.

I got my replacement phone, upgraded the software to the latest version and everything is working great except for "Mass storage mode support". It worked on every other version I've installed.
I tried searching all over for a solution, but none found.
Media Card Support = On
Encryption Mode = None
Mass Storage Mode Support = On
Auto Enable Mass Storage = Yes
Any Ideas? Thanks

What OS did you install and did you de-brand your device at all?

Perhaps it might be a good idea to update the first post to indicate that the .297 OS has been suspended. Many people might not read through the 400 plus posts to find out about this. To even a moderately active member, let alone a newbe, it would not be readily apparent that that the link for OS .297 at the top of the thread does not get you there. I have been a member for some time and I have not personally seen an OS appear and be withdrawn.
I would guess that .297 might not ever reappear, if the problem is not solely with ATT's VVM software.
.297 works for me, but I am with Rogers and do not have VVM.
Perhaps it might also be prudent to restick the previous OS as being the latest currently available OS. .297 is not the latest OS which is currently available.

I'm not sure it's fair to expect someone who sees the first post to read a petatybe to stuff to follow the entire thread.
.297 and VVM are still working ok for me here in Raleigh NC. I'll be in NYC in a month and we'll see what happens in the land of the iPhone network overload.

At your request, I have changed the first post. Now if someone would only give me a suspension, I can enjoy the best time of year in the Bay Area- September.

Thanks.
I'd even go one step further and re-sticky the latest available OS.
...just my 2 cents..

This Os has been pulled down.
You cant upgrade to it.
Some people have BBM 5 working, others dont.
Its still in beta.
Only way is to try.

I've restuck OS 4.6.0.292 to the top of this Bold section.
http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ilanguage.html
Meanwhile, I am also posting a link to a download of 4.6.0.297 for those that wish to get it, it is the same that ATT was distributing.

Thanks for the re-sticky. That should end the confusion (maybe). Also, I posted the correct link in that thread since it broke somehow.
Also, thanks for re-hosting the att version. I'm going to give that a try since I'm on 266/223.

Welcome to the forums.
Yes, you can install this on any 9000, regardless of the carrier. You just need to delete the vendor.xml file.

From the first page of this thread:
This will load for ANY carrier's BlackBerry Bold 9000, by following the instructions below.
