I've tried what seems like everything. I've changed the necessary file(s) to "false", I've deleted the VVM files, I tried CrackMem (using DM 5.0 so it won't work). Everytime I open DM or Loader, I never get an option to uncheck or remove VVM. Can anyone give me an idea what I'm doing wrong?
Looks like my problem is that I wasn't running Loader all the way through the process. I was stopping because I wasn't seeing popup to remove it. I ran it all the way through and all is good.
why'd you remove it ? at&t is going to start pushing this service out to customers before the end of the month.
may I ask where you got that from? I only ask because the last time they gave a date, they even had it posted up on the OLAM as an option that didnt allow you to activate it, for about 1/2 a day, and the rumor back then was, it was supposed to be deployed around March or May (can't recall at this point). And nothing every since.

While speaking with AT&T this morning (getting my unlock code), I figured WTH and asked about provisioning VVM, since the official AT&T OS that supports VVM is supposed to be released next week.
Half hour later it was working She forgot to re-add my BIS package, but that was easily corrected. Pretty neat...
VVM comes with the .282 OS. It doesn't work with AT&T service yet so I removed it from mine till they do. AT&T is releasing the official Bold 4.6.0.508 OS with VVM on the 25th of this month.
I've heard all that before... End of the month, next month, etc etc etc. I'll believe it all when I see an official OS upgrade for the Bold from AT&T with VVM up and running. Until I'm fine without it eating my memory in the background doing nothing productive.
