My company recently changed carrier to Verizon, which for totally unknown reasons don’t support texting to Denmark, where most of my family is living. Any APP’s out there, which I can use to txt to a standard cell or BB in Denmark OR any other suggestions??

Why not use BlackBerry Messenger to send messages to those in Denmark who already have BB?

As for non-BB users don't know what to say. That does seem odd that texting isn't supported to Denmark. Wonder why that is. But have you tried sending a text to see what happens?

What about sending your messages to the non-smartphone users through the carrier in the form of "phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com" or whatever their carriers use? That's the format for Sprint, but every carrier surly has something like this, no?

Instant messaging services via Yahoo, MSN etc. might also be a possibility.
