Default When will RIM get it right?

It seems RIM could do a better job of the next its generation. The Storm seems to me was a failure in it's ability to rival the iPhone. To me it's clear the vast majority of the buying public loves and wants the iphone interface. To me RIM needs to incorporate all the Tour has to offer with the interface, screen and intuitiveness of the iPhone. Maybe the Storm 2 will be the answer, but based on what I have read the Storm 2 will be a large improvement over the Storm it's still going to lag behind the 'slickness' of the iPhone. Heaven forbid if Verizon gets the iPhone.

Do we really need more threads comparing the iPhone and the Blackberry?

Well I guess you have a point. Just frustrating, the RIM OS is so good, seems its just the hardware they have issues with.

No no no... it's the hardware that YOU have issues with. Big difference.

I love the 8900. Does just what I need. I don't want or need a touch screen device. So, hardware is not an issue for me.

I have a Storm. Sits in my desk to be used as a bad example.

Why would you say that?? I haven't had any real trouble with my Storm hardware. It's the OS that was cr@p on Day 1. It has gotten better. I'm currently running 4.7.0.151 and it's the best yet, but it still isn't "there".
