Default Univited App Shows up..?? Pocket Express

Please Login to Remove!

My BB was off all night, turn it on in the AM and I have an extra Icon/App installed on my phone.?? wtf.?
Pocket Express.

How can that happen.?
Why does it happen and who MIGHT be behind it.? Bell..??

I went to Advanced options/applications, it does not show up. I do notice however it is in the service books.
I would like to remove this thing off my phone...completely..Any advice is appreciated.!!

Thanx,

stk

That's your carrier at work. What they have done is pushed down a shortcut to that app on your phone. When you click on it, it will install the app, that's why it doesn't show up in your applications yet.

Unfortunately, if you delete it, it will just reappear when your carrier pushes down the service books again. Best thing to do is just to hide it and move on, if you're not interested in using it.

Thanks Kirrin....makes me wonder what other crap they "push" or have pushed on us.
Good to know and interesting to know that carriers have that ability.

Yes they do, in fact some people here actually create a folder specifically for all the (cr)apps that get pushed down to their device by their carriers, and they place all those (cr)apps in that folder and then hide the folder.

Cool

..just damned glad they haven't started chipping humans yet...one does not need to extrapolate far as to what that could mean.....push indeed.!

at 56 my distrust of: Politicians, Multi-Nationals and the Filthy Rich grows exponentially day by day. Seems to me we are no better off than the "serfs" of the middle ages. Just the faces and the technology have changed...the game has not, it is as it was, as it still is and seemingly, as it always shall be: To separate us from our hard earned cash.

rant over...

Zeitgeist the movie...a most interesting film.

cheers,

stk
