Visual Voicemail is a thing where you can view each voicemail message you have separately. ATT currently does not support visual voicemail. You can remove either by using crackmem or delete the visual voicemail cod files in the installed os.

Youmail probs will.
But Im assuming the OP is talking about Visual Voicemail icon as seen in the OS's but not yet activated for BB by AT&T

There is a really good app for voicemail called YouMail.

Works great for me look into it.

YouMail, Phone Fusion Plus, GoogleVoice, etc... (all free) all work on the Bold on At&t. But yes, I believe the OP upgraded the OS and noticed the BB Visual Voicemail icon. That was frustrating seeing that icon but not being able to utilize it... Oh well, Phone Fusion Plus is working well for me with no battery drain and no sms usage unlike Youmail(which I love, but needs some bugs worked out for me).
