I haven't seen anyone mention this... unless I missed it. When I run Desktop Manager (still have 4.7 installed), it checks for updates for device software and I get this prompt in screenshot. I just installed the OS to my computer and still got the prompt and there are a lot more things in the list than what is seen in the ss. I've canceled it each time.

It always does for me, tries to remove the BBM 5.0.

Oh, maybe that's it. I can't remember for sure, but I don't think I got that prompt before I installed BBM 5.0.

Well, I haven't installed BBM 5.0 on my Tour yet and I still get the prompt. Weird...

I've gotten it as well...and like everyone else, I've just pressed cancel. Has anyone actually installed it and noticed anything different?

I did too and the update to DM 5 is supposed to stop that but I can't tell due to the BBM 5.0.

I got it and clicked ok. Only thing I noticed is that my tour no longer has that strange little lag. I am glad I did it, although OS version appeared to be identical to stock, it is what it is.

My Tour is v. 4.7, and I'm not going to upgrade DM to 5.0 until the OS is upgraded. Just being careful.
