Default Setting up personal email problems

Please Login to Remove!

Well my new Blackberry is about to go out the window! Its driving me insane. Im not sure if things arent working properly because my contract service plan doesnt change over until Sunday. I wanted to download orange maps and get all my email set up today though as im going on holiday 2moro and it would have been really useful to check my emails while away.

My main problem is when i first installed the software on my laptop I chose set up work email instead of personal. I then realised I cant set up my work email without loads of support from the IT technitian so tried to do it for my personal account instead. If I go through the setup the first thing it says is "I want to set up a work email with a blackberry enterprise server". There is no option to do a personal account anymore. I tried to do it via my laptop and the orange website but had an error saying I need to register my host table? I did this and the phone said message sent but nothing has happened yet.

I am tempted to go advanced options and wipe the phone to see if that helps.

Sorry for the long post but I am desperate to get this up and running before I go away tomorrow and dont have a laptop.

Until your device is provisioned for BlackBerry data (Sunday as you stated), you will not have the option to setup your personal email.

You are just going to have to be patient. And welcome to the forums.

Will have to try my best to be patient! I hate it when things aren't instant!
