How do i get smilies to pop up w/o going to menu, show symbols, pg down pg down.

What I do is just press the SYM key on the keypad. If you press it two or three times it should bring you to the emoticons.

Orrrr, you can download the BBM 5.0 beta and it has a whole list of smilies without having to press SYM. Check it out its great!
