Default Two Questions

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, one week with the Tour and I'm we're still getting to know each other. It's making me miss my 8830 a little.

I have two software questions:

1. I don't like having my hotmail emails come through on the primary message folder. There is a separate folder for hotmail but the emails still come through both folders. Can I restrict my hotmail emails from doing so?

2. I'm not a fan of the 7 or 8 preset sound profiles and I really don't want to create another one. Can you edit the pre existing vibrate profile (you can in older bbs)? I don't like my device to vibrate when emails come in.

Thanks

1. All messages, email, SMS, missed calls, etc., come to the central messages folder and to a folder for each email account. Cannot change it.

2. I have not heard of a way to do it, doesn't mean it can't be done however. maybe some one has an idea. Did you search?

The Tour has the option of keeping SMS messages separate from the main messages folder. In messages - options - SMS and Email Inboxes - choices are Combined, Separate or Theme Controlled. My Tour out of the box had it set for Separate, so none of my texts came into my main messages folder. Would be nice if they added choices for email accounts as well...
