Hi guys,

I was trying to clean my trackball yesterday after getting some sand under it from the beach and I popped out the metal ring surrounding the trackball the wrong way and now when I try to put it back in, it doesn't fit in properly. One side of it is more raised than the other and it's really annoying trying to use the trackball as the side that's lifted gets in the way and the ball doesn't scroll properly anymore.

I know it's not a HUGE problem but I was wondering has this happened to anyone with AT&T before? Do you think this would be covered by the warranty? Any other advice?

it has happened to me and it is a defect that happens alot don't tell them it fell in the sand. just tell them the ball got stuck and you tried to get it unstuck. I have verizon they mailed me a new phone and I had 72 hours to mail the old one in or they would charge me for the new phone it was covered with no deductible because like i mentioned it has been happening alot
