Hmmm... I guess I entered a contact and save it but i just cant find it on my contact list. How can I find that?

When dialed the number the name comes up but cant located anywhere in my contact list...

How was it entered? It can be listed as FIRST LAST or LAST, FIRST sequence. Make sure you did not enter it in the wrong format. Try going to the address book and just start typing the name... the address book should filter itself down to only show entries that match your typing...

I did... typed exactly as it appeared on the phone... but no show!

but when I entered the phone number, the name appears!!!

Call the number and then from Phone Log. View Contact and the see what you entered. You might have hid duplicates which is a possibilty too.

Maybe you saved it on your SIM.
