I don't know about that seller, but yes many remanufactured devices can be good buys.

Refurbs from ATT and other carriers are probably as good as a new one, other than a few scratches, etc. Can't vouch for those from other places however. In many cases, saving a couple bucks up front costs more time and aggravation in the end.

Agree with the others, refurbished devices can be in outstanding condition-some may have been hardly used at all, and the "refurbishment" is a case change to bring the device to a pristine appearance.

However, make very sure that you have done some reseach on who you will potentially buy from, and trust them based on that research.

My daughter has a refurbed Curve (8310) and her husband got a refurbed BlackJack II, both from at&t and both have been flawless devices. They are over 15 months old and run/perform perfectly.

I've had several refurbished phones from carriers (AT&T and Sprint) over the years, and they always looked and preformed like new. Good way to save some $$$.
