I do almost all my viewing and typing in the portrait view. Is there a way to stop the Storm from switching to the landscape view at all?

I use it and it works fairly well. It doesn't work with some apps, but you can't argue with the price.

landscape comes in handy (videos, for example)...the keyboard is easier in landscape as well....

but i too use portrait a lot. the orientation is better for using the web than landscape.

Don't buy it. Storm Rotation Wizard doesn't run properly yet. It doesn't remember its last position which means no memory. If you do battery pull reset you have to reset all the setting again and again.
