I have the 8800 and I want to use Maps and turn by turn directions and I was wondering, how do I accomplish this? Maybe not turn by turn but at least something similar to it. What receiver should I buy in order to get the most out of GPS tracking and such? I do not want a data plan for my phone so I guess I need a GPS receiver with Bluetooth and connect it so that I can view maps and such on my 8800?

So which is a good GPS receiver for under 60$ ? Or anything that I will need in order to accomplish what I want it to do for under 60$?

The 8800 has GPS. Check the sticky at the top of the thread for reviews of most of the map applications. Most require you to have a BB data plan in order to use them. Most do not have voice turn by turn or auto reroute.

I used Google Maps and BB Maps on my 8800, but only use Google Maps on the 9000.

IMHO, the best GPS is one of the standalone devices. Larger screen, more data. No data plans required. Full featured. However they cost more than $60.

Check out the All Known GPS apps thread and try some out. There are only a couple of options that work without a data plan and I can't think of anyone who would actually recommend either of them, FWIW.
