Default Oh kill me... 'OR' Now I can't...

Please Login to Remove!

Okay... Dealt with the non present internet browser thing...

Dealt with the TCP tunnel issue by adding the wap.cingular access point to the account.

Now I can't access any secure 'https' sites! I could yesterday after the Internet browser showed up, it was the first thing I tested. Hell... It's why I NEED the internet browser.

Is it just me or is this way over the top, jumping through all these hoops to get a product to work as it's sussposed and described to?

Any suggestions or pointers on where to even start researching this one?

I don't know... maybe you should fire up a class action because you don't think that your (primarily) email device doesn't work as it is supposed to.

Or maybe he can come to an online forum to discuss problems with his new device and see what others are saying about a seemingly common problem without having to deal with an assmunch like you.

pawn - good point and tcc- your problem may be due to a software glitch/bug, maybe you could try resetting the device and requesting service packs to be sent once again to your device.

OK... pawn and zero1... what exactly is the point of attacking me here? Here's my point, this person comes here and starts finger pointing...

Is it just me or is this way over the top, jumping through all these hoops to get a product to work as it's sussposed and described to?

This statement right here is what really irks me... people want everything to perform magic right out of the box... it doesn't work that way people. Not everybody has the desire to do the exact same stuff with a blackberry, or any other gadget... This is the reason they have options and various configuration settings.

tccweb's first problem was a missing internet borwser... a quick search, 5 minutes of reading yields this thread... http://www.blackberryforums.com/show...ternet+browser

This mentions getting the IB service books, hence the browser by pushing the service books down from BIS/BWC.

tccweb's second issue was dealt with not too long ago here... http://www.blackberryforums.com/show...t=wap.cingular

The third and last issue of the https variety is an easy fix too... I mentioned that gadgets often come with lots of options and settings... well I would imagine that if one were to use the apploader, and find where the handheld code is, they would notice that there is an option for https support on the browser that can be installed. Oh, let me guess... <whiny voice on>Why... oh why... wouldn't they install it to begin with?<whiny voice off>. Well... I have 3DES encryption, plus a little extra here or there from my blackberry to my corporate BES server, which is securely placed behind my corporate firewall. All of my intranet apps are not secure http based, they are http based. My proxy server does a fine job of translating everything I need for secure http, which means that only my BES server needs certificates for https.

10 minutes top, to find all the answers, I give an hour and 40 minutes for you people (ya... I am 10x smarter than you). This is a wasted thread as apparently I am not the only one who doesn't want to help out an insinuating type thread like this. It's the attitude of me first, give me everything that keeps other people from posting help on threads like this. tccweb was off to a really good start when he had worked out his first 2 issues, but as soon as he decided this thing should be configurable by dummies, he lost all the brownie points.

Oh... and just to clarify things...

pawn, I have *never* seen any type of intelligent answer from you that is actually relevant to a thread you have posted in... why is this? because you are a stupid wannabe. You try and make fun of people who are clearly in a higher class than you with your use of big words... woo I know where dictionary.com and thesaurus.com are too. Go have a stroke or something dude... be the next darwin award winner.

zero1... Why would you have even posted anything here, when first of all, you are agreeing to critisize me, and second of all you give ideas that are far from what is going to solve tccweb's issues. You don't know what you are doing, why should we let the blind lead the blind. If you don't know the answer, don't try and help people. It makes sense to me... I don't want someone who doesn't know what they are talking about to lead me on a wild goose chase...

Ok everyone chill out. Corey is right in some regards, a simple search should have fixed his problems wth the BlackBerry 8700, but sometimes people really are new and don't use forums like these and don't think to search first. People can get annoyed with Corey's response and attitude but that's his problem. Not yours...
"without having to deal with an assmunch like you." Could have been left out, haha

I want to be abundantly clear about this: because you're by far the stupidest windup toy I've ever witnessed. I shouldn't even be responding yet, since I have no doubt left unattended, you will continue to respond to yourself all night. I could watch you all day, windup toy. You're like the non-Jewish dreidel.

Oh how clear that is... you call me stupid... show some intelligence... just 1 little piece here... what have you *ever* done around here that shows you know your ass from a hole in the ground?

You call me a wind up toys and a non-jewish dreidel... wow... If I keep arguing with you I would have to come way down to your level then eh... but you might actually win in the 'stupid low life, touching on racism' argument... cause you have way more experience down at that level.

I bet you got picked on a lot when you were in school. Maybe you should go back to watching you kiddie porn now, cause you obviously aren't smart enough to contribute to anything intellectual here.

Until you can hold your weight with some small sign of blackberry knowledge, why don't you go somewhere else... if the best you have is to try and insult me, you have nothing at all. Where I get a kick out of taming losers like you, you argue to try and keep an ounce of credibility, which you never will have. Nobody will miss you when you fade off dude... just leave. Do everyone else a favour.

ok guys, this is not the point of this forum. Corey it was not my intention to portray a malicious attack on you, i was merely agreeing with pawn that this forum is for that type of question. questions that people may have and need help resolving. given he unfortunately couldve just searched like boy genius mentioned. and my answer was insufficient and incorrect, i take responsibility, i did not read the question correctly. i apologize. it is hositility that impedes the process of learning. we are gathered on a digital, untethered, equal playing field, we do not need to react with animosity when we are all trying to achieve the same goal. so corey, please take my sincere apologize, and lets get back to what we are all gathered here for.

See! finally someone who is too stupid to contribute something relevant, but smart enough to know about the ignore feature... I suppose now this guy is only half way stupid now...

I love how my remarks are considered ignorant, even though I am the one who has answered the question. A couple of other people who have "contributed" to this thread would have their posts considered as what? They certainly aren't on topic, nor do they have any kind of point behind them other than trying to put me down.

Here's a suggestion to all you people... try answering some of the questions people ask here... don't bother *****ing at me, I contribute to the community with a bit of know-how... you guys don't. People like pawn shouldn't even have the capability to post here. Let's look at what he has contributed compared to what he has said about me...

Now how about all you naysayers of corey go munch on your ass's as pawn so nicely brought it up. You guys are all nobody's... you can't contribute anything descent or of value to anyone else... just stop posting and keep lurking. Do everyone a favour.

cd.

ps. and now I am a looser... loser? someone can't spell out their insults very well... ya... ok... I am a loser... for sure... I have nothing and will never be anything right? ok Mr. emale.

Ok this is madness...locking thread. Everyone grow up. Please keep things on topic and contribute instead of calling people names, that does nothing to help.
