OK... pawn and zero1... what exactly is the point of attacking me here? Here's my point, this person comes here and starts finger pointing...
Is it just me or is this way over the top, jumping through all these hoops to get a product to work as it's sussposed and described to?
This statement right here is what really irks me... people want everything to perform magic right out of the box... it doesn't work that way people. Not everybody has the desire to do the exact same stuff with a blackberry, or any other gadget... This is the reason they have options and various configuration settings.
tccweb's first problem was a missing internet borwser... a quick search, 5 minutes of reading yields this thread...

This mentions getting the IB service books, hence the browser by pushing the service books down from BIS/BWC.
tccweb's second issue was dealt with not too long ago here...

The third and last issue of the https variety is an easy fix too... I mentioned that gadgets often come with lots of options and settings... well I would imagine that if one were to use the apploader, and find where the handheld code is, they would notice that there is an option for https support on the browser that can be installed. Oh, let me guess... <whiny voice on>Why... oh why... wouldn't they install it to begin with?<whiny voice off>. Well... I have 3DES encryption, plus a little extra here or there from my blackberry to my corporate BES server, which is securely placed behind my corporate firewall. All of my intranet apps are not secure http based, they are http based. My proxy server does a fine job of translating everything I need for secure http, which means that only my BES server needs certificates for https.
10 minutes top, to find all the answers, I give an hour and 40 minutes for you people (ya... I am 10x smarter than you). This is a wasted thread as apparently I am not the only one who doesn't want to help out an insinuating type thread like this. It's the attitude of me first, give me everything that keeps other people from posting help on threads like this. tccweb was off to a really good start when he had worked out his first 2 issues, but as soon as he decided this thing should be configurable by dummies, he lost all the brownie points.
