Hi

I have set up my googlemail with my vodafone 8120 through the mobileemail.vodafone.net account and this intermittently delivers email slowly and fast. Sometimes the account dissapears from the phone although it is there on the BIS.

I believe gmail isnt the best email to use on this phone. Is there one you can recommend that is a good one to use?

I also downloaded the gmail app that was just as bad. Have now deleted this app

Can't say that their is a "best". It would be whatever works for you. Gmail, Yahoo, your home Internet provider, etc.

Gmail is actually one of the best providers to use with BlackBerry.

for some reason the email says sent, but then says Folder outbox and I cant find a sent items box. When I look at my account online, it doesnt appear in the sent items. I have set it up correctly. Its just a pain. any advice?

If you sent an email from your device, it will only show up on your device in the inbox if you have "AUTO BCC" checked in the BIS/Email account setup. Otherwise you will not have a copy on your PCs email client.

Thanks. After a while, usually the next day, it doesnt seem to send again. So do I need to resend the service books. I have also set up a blackberry device email and in the options, email settings for my googlemail, the message services comes up with my blackberry address, not sure why.
