After a battery pull I typically have about 12,000,000 bytes free. It drops down to <5,000,000 bytes within a few hours. Anyone else see this problem??

I had the (normal?!) slow memory leak a lot of pearl users seem to have, and would have to reset every couple days to recover memory. But after this upgrade, the leak is crazy. If it keeps up I'll have to downgrade back to 1.2

I have a Pearl 8130 running 4.5.0.131

Ahh, crap your right.. I had a bit over 30 MB free this morning now I have 22 MB free... Hmm

Facebook Update 1.5.0.32 Fixes Calendar & Number Request Bugs
April 24th, 2009 by the BerryReview Team

connectcontact2UPDATE: BBBoy brought it to my attention that this build may break more things than it fixes so you may want to hold off on installing it! Supposedly this latest version can screw up your calendar, make the icon dissapear, continue spamming your friends for phone number requests, may screw up your AIM connection, and just plain give you the finger… Great quality job on this one RIM but I guess it is better than a “shake the baby” app.

Quite a few people who downloaded Facebook 1.5.0.31 when it came out were rightfully peeved at the calendar and request friends number bug that came with the update. Ju let me know that RIM has fixed these bug in this latest version of Facebook 1.5.0.32. It will now not change your default calendar to Facebook so your themes will be find and requesting a friends number is optional now.

You can pick up the update at:
IM & Social Networking
or directly at
BlackBerry - Facebook for BlackBerry Smartphones

The main problem is that those of us who downloaded the original 1.5.0.31 will not have our calendars fixed automatically with the new update. You will need to go to Options>Advanced Options>Default Services and change the calendar from Facebook to your normal default calendar.

I had the same issue. I thought the 1.5.0.32 update may have been for OS 4.6 only until I read your post, then I was able to update via the FB site. Thanks!

Downloaded 1.5 and not really seeing much of a difference. Still not the best app in the world. FB needs to improve on their app for Blackberries.

This is a RIM application and was not created by Facebook. And yes, it needs way more improvement, but don't expect it any time soon, if ever.

Great job of ducking the question. Let me ask it very directly one more time. Have you personally used Facebook 1.5 on a BlackBerry? If the answer is "no", then your post calling it a "half-a**ed update" most certainly qualifies as a trolling post, no matter how long you've been here and how many BlackBerry's you've owned in the past.

Gee, more trolling! What's your basis for claiming don't expect it any time soon, if ever? Inside info, gee let us know!

Makes one wonder why a habitual naysayer still frequents a BlackBerry forum.
