Man he is a teen ager he has an answer for everything. Im am glad you arent my kid. I guarantee you I would know what you were doing with the phone every minute of the day because I check my sons phone and bills frequently. And unless you are 18 you dont own anything it all belongs to your parents. They are ultimatley responsible for every action you take.

Wizood, you certainly do have lots of answers... even your own rule book. How nice.
Go try to sign a contract, purchase property or even commit a crime, at your age, and you will see very quickly just how much of life you really do have control over.

Youth. Wasted on the young. Wizwood, you should print this entire thread and read it again in 20 years. Trust me, you will be shocked. And embarrassed.

Wizood, and in even twenty years, you might get my point. I didn't encourage you to commit a crime. Get it?
The question you will face sooner or later is, as you have stated--you have own set of rules. Your society and your government have another. Where those conflict, you will face some frustration.

Wizood,
Could you please take your trolling elsewhere. Please and thank you.

That pretty much sums it up. If it looks like a troll, smells like a troll and talks like a troll, what else could it be?

Wizood, after scanning this thread, the one thing I didn't see you mention was WHY you hate saying it in the morning? Is it because you're lazy and just don't feel like it or because you truly disagree with pledging allegiance to the flag and freedom of our country or is it because it has 'Under God" in it? If it's because you're lazy, just get off your ass and do it. If you hate our free country, leave. But, here's what I did as a teen in class since I don't believe in God - say the whole pledge and just don't say anything when it comes to the "under God" part. Then, the rest of it can still make sense to you.
Want to know when I truly realized how much I love this country? I was 16, at my first baseball game ever, sang the anthem, saw the jets blasting by overhead, and then Lee Greenwood came on the field and sang "God Bless the USA." Seriously, chills for 10 minutes and tears. Go watch the video on youtube, learn the words and sing along. I guarantee you will get the chills. I don't believe in God, but my wife and kids do and everyone else in my family does, so I say the pledge of allegiance for them and for our country and do it with respect for all those that have fought and died to give us the freedoms we now enjoy.

And here we have the essence of how you may or may not fit into society wizwood. The government put together by a bunch of smart guys over 200 years ago was/is successful. In large part because it centers around personal initiative. Have some personal initiative and learn more about it rather than grumbling about having to stand up and say the pledge. Like some have offered here, you are lucky beyond belief. You just don't know it yet.

When I was 14 and a freshman in HS I thought the pledge was a complete waste of energy that i was already lacking in the morning. I simply did not participate for the entire 1st year of high school. I'm sure my parents would have had a fit had they known.
then during the summer between my freshman and sophmore years Iraq invaded Kuwait and my cousin was sent to Kuwait. My stubborness gave way to pride in that my family was doing good in the region. While i obviously was too young to serve, i could show my pride and gratitiude to my cousin, as well as his fellow soldiers, that i supported them by at the very least standing up and reciting the pledge.
It takes so little energy and time really. Now this kid is just being a brick about it and that is his right. Should he leave the country? No. Should war vets be allowed to spit on him? Yes.
Kid, wizwood, whatever your name may be. One day you may regret not having the tact you have so beautifully shown us here that you are severly lacking. Hopefully sooner than later you will come to. I hope you do before you get kicked by a marine or worse.
my .025 worth.
i should also state that one of the main reasons i stood and recited the pledge was my fear that i would never see my cousin again. a prayer for lack of a better word.

Next time you get upset because you have to say the Pleadge of Allegiance, turn on the news and really just set and watch it. Im willing to bet most of those people would love to have getting up in the morning and saying that, on their top 10 list of things they hate doing.
1. Hate fighting for my family to live through another day
2. Hate the sounds of jets, guns, bombs, and tanks at night when my baby is trying to sleep.
3. Hate having to eat dead animals and sand for dinner.
4. Hate not having water to drink.
5. Hate waking up to one less family member.
Now ours.
1. Hate having to wait in line at McDonalds for my breakfast.
2. Hate it when my a/c goes out in my house.
3. Hate when my car wont start so I have to take the truck to work.
4. Hate it when my BlackBerry freezes up and I have to do a battery pull.
5. Hate it when I have to get up and go to school and waist 8 to 9 hours of my life so I can get a better education so I can maybe be someone that will turn this world around and help people in need.
Next time you (anyone) hate doing something just set back and think... It could be worse. Think about the people out there risking lives so we can complain about all the little things we have to do each day.
Thats my rant. Thank you for reading.
