Please Login to Remove!

So if im correct Verizon has made it official that they are going to release firmware update 4.7.0.113 for the Storm... Anyone know when exactly this is going to be made available? I have been checking Verizon's web site and over the air however nothing yet!

It's not clear - appears 122 may be in order - hopefully sooner than later.

No one knows when Verizon is going to release a new version.
Speculation is about it.

.122 was found but it appears to be updating via DM instead of a full .exe. Over at CrackBerry some very capable fellas have put a file together for those who don't like to wait.

Greetings,
I have loaded .113 after having experienced a number of lockups and sluggish response with .75. From that standpoint, .113 seems to have solved a lot of response issues, but I suspect power management may be an issue. For example, last night before going to bed, the battery was fully charged and was placed into the Otterbox holster. It should have gone to sleep. After 7 hours, I took it out of the holster and the battery was flat as a flitter. I inserted the charger and after a minute I got a dim white screen with a battery/bolt icon. After another 5 minutes or so, the little sweep icon came on to indicate a reboot. The home screen indicated a red outlined battery icon under charge and the radio icon indicated off. Prior to all this, I disabled GPS even though the cross-hair remained on the main screen until the morning after the reboot. Now it's off.
Bluetooth is also off.

I don't know if the OS has a power management issue or a background process is sucking the battery down.

Your thoughts and suggestions are welcomed before I either go back to .75 or move up to another Rev level, say .122

I know this going out on a limb, but the sales guy at Verizon said he got an email that the new OS will be out before the end of this month. He wasn't sure which version though.

BlackBerry Storm Gets Firmware Update -- BlackBerry -- InformationWeek

i've been waiting and waiting to see what the next OS release will be by verizon....it looks like something i'll yawn @ when it's available. i heard Bell's .122 is much better.
