Hello all, thank you in advance to all those who will read and help me with my issue. Appreciate it!


ISSUE:
When i call one of my contacts no matter what
the phone automaticly adds an "+1" before the area code what make my calls more expensive due to "1" like if a were calling international number but all this are local numbers.

Eg: AAA-NNN-NNNN this is a regular number where AAA stands for area code and NNN-NNNN for the number so whenever i place a call to one of my conctacts it is dialed like this:
+1AAANNNNNNN

Why does it adds the "+1 " if i am calling local numbers???

The +1 wont affect the cost if you're in your home area. However, if you're on a Mexican/Canadian border, then your call will still go through if you're on a non US tower.

You can go into your call log, then options and modify the smart dialing settings to not have the +1.

Well actuallyt am not even in USA, i live inthe caribbean and the "+1" Does cost more for my calls cuz i have checked it twice!!

You can change it to what you want. Go to call logging, press the left menu key, press options, smart dialing.

I would keep it, that way you can dial from your phone book traveling.
