Default 8700 Cingular in Black??

Please Login to Remove!

I saw that Cingular now has the 8700 for sale on the website, but I also noticed that rogers in england had it for sale in the black color, the 8700r.

Any chance on getting the 8700 in black through cingular. I love the color of my 7290, but want a speakerphone and html browser.

Cingular will likely only offer it in that silver colour. IF you were really desperate, you could buy an 8700r then take it to a company like Bongo Wireless to have it unlocked.

Personally, I was a little iffy on the silver color before I got mine. The silver on the websites are much lighter than in person. With the dark silver and black keys and trim, I think it looks pretty good.

I didn't know that....Cool. Still anyone know if you can buy an OEM blackberry case from BB, or know of a blackberry third party repair shop here in the states that can order parts (black case). I have loved the black, because I usually wear black pants and a golf shirt to work, you can hardly see my BB now.

The color on the site is totally misleading. It is much darker in person... I'm actually thinking it may be the same color as the 8700g. Looks the same on the Blackberry site..

Speaking of cases.

Is there a site yet where you can buy aftermarket cases? I'm not feeling the navy of the t-mo 8700.

Check their site. Looks to me like they've got them now. They may only have the 8700c, but it's not specific.
