hahah... prob you don't know this but there is a limit (is max 75 GB) on Exchange Std... Dont really have the $$,$$$ to upgrade 8 offices to Exchange Enterprise right now... especially just to make a blackberry work with it.

Needing more storage space is not the issue. The issue is when you move a message from your Exchange mailbox to a PST folder using Outlook, that message remains in the Inbox on the BlackBerry. However, performing the same operation when using Goodlink, the message was removed from the Inbox on the device. I think we are all just wondering why BES doesn't have this same functionality.

If the Hard Deletes option is not enabled on the BES, the BES does not reconcile hard deletes.

When an item is moved to a PST, it does not touch the Deleted Items folder so the BES sees (or rather doesn't see) it as a hard delete.

I had set this a while back, and it wasn't working. However, I just checked, and it now works!? Strange, but I'll take it.

Actually it is. If you read the original post, the reason he's doing this is for storage limit reasons. By increasing the storage limit, he doesn't need to archive emails on a regular basis, and thus the limitation of BES is moot.

My mail store is at 200 gig now.
