So its not possible to use skype on the BB, I have unlimited calls anyway so no real need for it.
But is it possible to copy my skype contacts directly onto my BB 8900?
I have over 500 work contact numbers and have saved my contact list from skype to my hard drive(not sure what program to open it up with though) and now need to transfer them onto my BB.

Is this possible?

Do i need an application to open the file up?

Anyone out there wondering the same?

I am not aware of any application which can sync Skype to BlackBerry. However there is a workaround to it.. you can use "Skyp2Out" to export your contacts to Outlook and then sync your BB with Outlook.

I just dloaded skyp2out, ran it, followed instructions and now its blocked my outlook express from opening for some reason, cant access my mail

OK I can access my microsoft outlook mail again now and i managed to get all of my contacts from skype over to microsoft outlook but they are stored in my 'contacts list' instead of my 'address book' and i cant seem to transfer them to here.
The BB desktop manager can transfer names from my 'address book in outlook' to my BB but not from my 'contacts list in outlook'

I just need to transfer them from contacts to address book

I think it must have just froze on me, i did a reboot and it was fine
