I have absolutely NO data plan whatsoever. I can't use bluetooth, no internet, and MMS. However, I was reading into this and was wondering if using that method, I could get Internet on my phone. From what I've learned, BIS/BES is where you get your Internet service from, and this says you don't need it.

if you have gprs or edge it will work. You have to set APN for your carrier

Using the 'anworm' method it's possible to use the native blackberry browser without having a data plan with blackberry - BIS or BES. However, you will still need some kind of data plan with your network provider, whether this is 'pay as you go' or a contract with inclusive data etc. And it's no good for using bb push email etc.
