Unhappy How to display the phonetic symbol on my BB?

Please Login to Remove!

I installed a dict tool in my BB, but it can't display the phonetic symbol ?
What can I do to correct it?

Have you tried holding a letter key and rolling the trackball up or down? This is how I input special characters, so maybe this will help you out.

Sorry, I didn't state my question clearly. Actually, my question is how to show the IPA in some emails,not input them.

I have msdict and IPA display fine, I try to copy them to message and it works. BB recognize them well! I have OS 4.5

it works only with emails! try to create a txt file on PC, then send it to BB. then open the file on BB, select the symbol and copy/paste
