You mean, you've tried PocketMac?

Just remember: Mass Media Storage Support must be "On."

After you enable Mass Media Storage in "Options" it should show up when plugged into your Mac. When you plug the USB cable in the Blackberry will show most likely on your desktop and in Finder under devices. If it does not show up you will not have the option to sync media in Pocket Mac. A couple of times mine did not show up and I just unplugged the USB and plugged it back in.

yeah, the mass storage issue tripped me last night, but when I fired up VMware, somehow coming back to mac land left that on and it worked... Now I know and it work natively in PocketMac....

BUT?!!

what about m4a and m4v files? I'm guessing this is a VRM issue, but is there a way around it? I can get the files onto the BB but it won't see them or play them. Any files I have that are actually mp3s work fine, but not the other (newer) formats?

HELP!

also, while I'm asking about formats, what format do videos need to be? Whatever the OOC format is from my gopro doesn't work, so I'll have to covert them.,,,

I experienced the same thing with iTunes. It is Apple protection that is keeping it from playing. In iTunes if you click view and then view options and check kind it will show the file formats. You can't transfer anything that says "Protected AAC". However recently Apple just went DRM free on a lot of music so when you click on the iTunes Store link, in the upper right hand corner it will say "Upgrade to iTunes Plus". When I did it it cost me about $30.00 to upgrade 100+ songs and then I was able to use them on my blackberry. I think I have read about some third party software that will strip DRM but never used any. Sorry no advice on video's don't have any.

DRM-protected tunes (m4a format) will not work on your phone. iTunes will now give you the option (for extra $) to download songs without the "protecting-shield."
There are several programs that can "decode" DRM, you can start here...
