Default Anyone try this out yet - Message Peek -

Please Login to Remove!

GetJar: Free Java, Symbian, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Palm and Flash Lite mobile games and applications

its quite good - I own Peek a who but this looks and acts better.

It actually gives sms pop up AND goes to the sms application

You can also reply to emails right from pop up - sweet

I've been trialing this app and i love it. I think i'll pay the $7 to register once the trial expires.

Needs improvement to support HTML email and hot keys. I'd like to just hit R to reply when the message pops up.

Great app. Been using it most of today, I especially like the Reply To All and Forward from the popup.

@bchelms, there are hotkeys

You can also use the following one click shortkeys for Message actions:

r - Reply to the message (Opens BlackBerry Email composer)
a - Reply to all recipenets of the message (Opens BlackBerry Email composer)
f - Forward the message (Opens BlackBerry Email composer)
m - Mark the message as read
del - delete the message from your inbox
i - Open your inbox.

Been using it about 10 days now...MUCh better than aerize or peekaWho in my opinion. They have a new update that you can get to OTA at http://msgpeek.appspot.com/ota

Still doesn't have the killer feature that Peek a Who has.... application filter.... I don't need the pop up in every app. Only PeekaWho has that feature.

It supports all devices running 4.2 OS or higher. Curve is supported.

This is coming in one of the next updates, as is shortcut to open attachments from the preview pane.

Keep an eye on BlackBerry News, we are going to run a 10 license giveaway for this app.

I tried it the other day and liked it but I couldn't figure out how to delete message on storm. I use aerize alerts and while it is certainly not the best, it does give me button to delete messages. please advise, if you know.
thanks

I will ask the developers how to do this on a Storm. On my Bold I simply press the [del] key.

Checked it out last night. Received PIN messages, replied using the icon on the Message Peek screen and discovered that my replies weren't going anywhere. That was enough to delete it, but I also found that it changed the fonts on my outgoing message screen and that change was also not a good one. Promptly deleted the program.

I can't do OTA install, but I see the DM install on their website (messagepeek.com) but there's no option for OS 4.5. So is the curve supported via DM?
