I know it wasn't nice of me, but i lied. After settings apn settings and getting service books in place i began the dreaded edge/EDGE drop. Its funny though, cause it didn't have a problem till i change a couple settings for att.

No, I meant February. 2009.
That is what so many were assuredly predicting in January, lol.

Respectfully, the reason you don't get a response to your question is that no one knows when an official release is going to happen. I can tell you about the rumor of 3/31. I can tell you about the rumor last Friday. Anyone that tells you a firm date is either speculating or has been told by a CSR who really don't know anything more then we do so we can't take their word. Not to mention the trolls that just throw a date in there to get us going.

I'm mainly concerened about memory. When I downloaded last night I went all the way down to 19.8 mb on my applications. I did a quick pull and it jumped, and I mean jumped to 50mb. However the auto quick pull was at 5:00 am (assuming it did it) and now I'm down to 39.6, which is up from when I last looked at it so I guess memory cleaner works!
Camera is vastly improved,
typing speed is quicker
overall response seems faster
An issue I had with sending certain pictures via email (not mms, never had that issue) seems fixed.
I still can't use certain pictures on memory card as wallpaper. Only the ones on "camera" are available.

With apps running and no reboots since initial install I'm at 36mb Memmory thats with txt gtalk and my standard flood of emails. I did some bbf browsing via WAP yesterday.
Camera is quicker
MMS in portrait with a saved picture send a grey block
MMS in vertical sends picture just fine.
MMS of horizontal picture taken by camera sent fine.
Browser seems about the same
Initial restart was faster but only marginally
Keyboard is snappier.
I initially had an extreme amount of lag when accessing my media card but that has cleared up.

the network doesn't effect the OS's responce or snappyness. It will effect how the phone reacts to say going on edge and off edge.

.109 did well for me. very little issues with EDGE, only slightly at startup the first couple of reboots. I find that placing my rogers device on '2G only' will keep EDGE up more cleanly.

I have been running 109 (leaked version) since this AM...seems to work well. I do not have any reboot problems, battery seems normal and all apps seem to work well. I also do NOT have the contact (cant delete) issue someone posted above.
Overall, very stable and solid OS. Its a keep....

I say if you're happy with .75 don't upgrade. But the fact that you're asking probably means you'll give it a try.
You can always go back. I did with .103. Twice.

Ok so I been running .109 since last night 10PM, and I will admit it is dam fast after the update. I use JL com to wipe my device then DM to reinstall 109.
but it seemed to me that after I synced back up with my BES that, that speediness is now GONE!.
So this AM i took one of our spare BB Storm wiped it using JL Com, and did a reinstall of 109. This device that is not hooked up to a BES is fo much faster than mine and were both running 109.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

First off, While running Slacker radio I'm at ~41MB of free memory.
Secondly, thus far it seems that when it transitions from screen to screen (ie - hitting the menu button from the home screen) I don't seem to be getting any lag or screen overlaps, even while running other programs (I did with version .103).
Also, this version still has reduced quality images for the blue hover backgrounds, don't know if they're ever going to go back to full quality.
