I have been using it about 5 months. I thought my coworkers were nuts carrying their bricks around on their hip. I so much enjoyed just having the smallest phone possible in my pocket.

But that meant I had to lug my laptop to client sites, something that wasn't fun and many clients weren't happy about giving you access through their network.

I haven't brought my laptop with me for 5 months now and have gotten use to the brick

Personally got first BB in summer of '99 . . . was a RIM 950 with Earthlink, used it for 18 months before it got a replacement due to wear and tear on screen and trackwheel. Used the 950 up until fall of '04 'coz Earthlink didn't sell them anymore, they just had the 7250 & 957. Acquired TMO MOT A630 instead for messaging needs, dealt with message pulling by configuring email alerts sent via SMS as my POP received them.... Transitioned over to TMO 7290 in summer of '05. . . got 7100i last week... and still waiting for the 8700c . . .

Started Spring of 2000 with the 950. Then help my client implement BES 2.1 the fall of that year. Since then I've had 957/6210/7210/7280/7100.

I started with an 850 in 1999 (still have it). It was nice being able to switch out the battery. Moved to a 957 in 2000. Coverage was good almost everywhere I went, so I was happy. Waited until 2004 to upgrade to a 7230 (finally had a color screen and phone service). This year, I scratched the itch and bought a 7290 (mainly for the brighter screen and extra memory). Now I'm eyeing the 8700.

What a long strange trip it's been.

Using one since 1998. Sat through a presentation at a Microsoft Exchange Conference and the presenting company gave you a 950.

Started with the 7510 a year ago, lost it for a while while our company got togther and approved them for roll out. Moved back into a 7510 and when it croaked moved up to the 7520. Hoping they get the 7100I.......

Im sorry guys but before my bb i carried a treo 600 and was an avid user and sold it like it was the best thing that ever hit the market. About a month ago on a whim i switched to the 7250 to try it, my god. I never knew what i was missing ill never go back. The 7250 makes my treo 600 look foolish. So i gave the treo to the girlfriend and she uses it now and keeps asking if im going to buy the 7130 and give her the 7250.

June 2003: 6750 (replacement 1, messed up syncing with serial-usb converter)
Aug 2003: 6750 (replacement 2, broke trackwheel with seatbelt)
October 2004: 6750 (replacement 3, wore out sync port)
May 2005: 7250 (UPGRADE!)
Long story short...2 1/2 years.

Three months. Love hate relationship so far. Crackberry is an accurate description. I can't believe some people use it for games, etc. Frankly, I wish I could leave it at home without feeling my blood pressure go up. I'm totally dependant but I don't know what I'd do without it.

Late 1998 I got my first 950 through Rogers Wireless, then I had a 957, switched back to a 950, then a 5810, then a 7230, then a 7750 (what a mistake), then a 7290, then a 7100V, then a 7100G, and now a 8700R

I like upgrading I just wish the PIN was attached to the sim card, and not the device.

Been using the 7250 since February of this year and will never look back from a Blackberry.

I like not being on a BES as it allows me the freedom to not only manage work data effectively but also use it for any sort of personal need I desire.

Started with a 950 on Nov 21, 2000 (exactly 5 years ago today). I stuck with the 950 because of its size and the replaceable battery until July 2003, when I switched to a 7230.

I was trying to hold out for the rumored T-Mobile version of the 8700, but my escape button failed on that 7230 out of warranty in August 2005 -- and I got a 7290.

May 30th, 2005 was my first joy with my 7250. And it has been nice experiences every single day with new joy every step of the way, like todays Verizon's release of the long awaied EVDO, and all I can say is SWEEEEEEEEETNESS!!!!!

got my BB7520 April of this year. Prior to that I had 7100t from Tmobile for about a day and had to get rid of it. Just didn't like it. Got the 7100i just recently, had to get rid of that one too.

I guess I love this one so much, it lasted more than 6 months

WOW .......... I feel like such a Newbie here. I have been using PDA's for years (palm and PPC), however I just purchased my first BlackBerry about 2 weeks ago. Thanks to you guys here actually; I had been going through a terrible relationship with my Treo 600 and thanks to the many great discussions here, I made the switch and am glad I did. I only wish I had tried one out sooner.

Oh! BTW ........... I am using the 7250 as appeared to be the best choice according to discussions here. Of course availability through my ISP had some affect on this model choice.
