This is an FYI for those of you that were planning on also getting the best skins ever skin with the Seidio innocase to be used in conjunction with the Javelin. The fit is very tight and I am having trouble clicking the pieces together and I am assuming it is because of the skin.

Got my case just now. Its nice. Thinner than my Inno case for my 8320. The bottom piece comes off for cradle use and the top has openings for the lock and mute buttons. Another great job by Seidio. I highly recommend it. Oh yeah the design makes so much since. Unlike the case for the 8320 that snaps together. This case the phone slides in so there's no way at all that this case can break open after a fall. On top all of all that the inside of the case has some felt portions so there is no scracthes/blemishes do to the case itself.

Have you tried it in the cradle with the top portion on yet? If so which cradle?

Received my Seidio case this afternoon. What a GREAT design and WELL worth the money you spend for this one! Tight fit, almost all of the phone is protected and the case really enhances the style of the phone as well! Nice feel to the finish as well.
Holder clip equally well-designed and I like the face in positioning of the phone to protect the screen.
Beautiful job SEIDIO!!

Why would you put a skin AND a Seidio Innocase on your phone? Don't you just need one or the other?

Haven't tried it with a cradle yet. I haven't bought a cradle for it however I can't see how it wouldn't work since the bottom of the case comes of specifically for the purpose of cradle charging.

That seems like a pain to do every time you dock it.

I received mine yesterday and the fit and finish is STELLAR. The new design is really ingenious and makes the keys more accessible than the past cases. Highly recommended.

I am fairly certain that Seidio will come out with a dock. I will wait for it.

Hello,
I apologize about that! Please try to clear out your browser's cache, restart it and try to order it again. Sometimes it may have some random stuff stuck in there!

That is correct! A Innodock without the need of removing the Innocase is currently in development, and as soon as it is ready, we will let you guys know!

You can never have enough protection, plus it was good for the skin to protect it while I awaited the Innocase.

I installed the full body kit. I had to pull off most of it to get the Innocase to close properly. The only pieces that are still left on are the screen and the piece above the screen. You can probably get away with having the camera piece on also.

That is correct! A Innodock without the need of removing the Innocase

Hello,
I'm sorry, I don't know why the previous post was chopped off, the Cradle for the 8900 is currently in development we will announce it when it is available for pre-order!

For anyone that has this case, is it a smoother, less lint-catching finish than the OEM Blackberry rubberized skin you can buy? I hate that it seems to grab every bit of lint and dust when it's in my pocket.

No lint attaches to the Seidio innocase - the material is like the material feel on the outside of the Original IBM thinkpad - now lenovo.
I received mine, and while I like the case itself, I'm disappointed in the clip. They use the same clip as what was used on the 8300 series. This is a problem since the 8900 is lower profile, smaller dimensions. Yeah, it fits OK .... but why would I want the same clip profile for a thinner phone. Another interesting fact is that the clip assy for the 8800 is actually thinner then this clip assy for the 8300 / 8900 series.... Seems strange to me... so what I did was removed the spring loaded clip from the 8800 clip assy and installed it on the 8300/8900 clip assy, and now I have a lower profile clip (by about 1/8 - 1/4"). Since this phone has different dimensions then the 8300 series, shouldn't Seidio make a clip that fits the 8900 phone specifically?

The only thing holding me back from the seidio cases/holster is the spring clip.
For my 8300 and my iPhone, on both holsters, the top clip broke because there is a pin there that attaches the top clip to the rest of the holster (aka the hinge). That keeps sliding out and eventually disables the top clip.
Has that design flaw been fixed?

I agree, and the beveled edges to expose the face is also great since the previous curve case had such a high profile, it took some time to get used to accessing those keys. I also love the fact that Ido not activate the camera or voice-dial buttons too easily. Although care must be taken to remove it for battery removal, it is still a great case. The commpromise of that, I can live with.
Great design and great product!! Seidio rocks!
