Question How do I delete multiple messages ?

Please Login to Remove!

I do not seem to be able to delete multiple messages (emails or SMS's). I cannot highlight more than one. Is there a menu item somewhere ? Can someone please help on the proper technique / procedure ?
Thanks

Highlight the date -> Menu (the BB button) -> Delete Prior and done.

Thanks ! It just dawned on me I'd like to do the same with my call log, but I cannot find any "delete prior" button...

You can highlight the first message using one finger and while hovering over that message use another finger and select the rest of the message. Then hit the BB button and select Delete Messages.

It doesn't work with call logs, though. At least not to me.

Its similar to deleting multiple files on a PC.

Raise the first file to be deleted to the top of the screen, thumb and hover on the first file and then thumb the lowest file with another finger. Everything in the middle should be highlighted in blue. Then use the BB button and select delete.

I have not figured out how to do this in the call logs. The BB menu doesn't offer a "clear all" option as well.

In order to clear my call log, I do a search from "messages" for all phone items (actually set up a custom search alt + l). Then you can delete them all in one motion.

In the phone application, I have the "call logging in message list" set to "none".
