I cant seem to get the Jawbone 2 to activate the Voice Dialing. Any ideas? It only will answer and hang up the call. I tried re-pairing it but that didnt work. I'm running 4.2.2.166 on an AT&T BlackBerry 8300.

I have the original jawbone and i believe it does not do this.

I have the original jawbone and it does. It activates the phone's vad. Anyone know how to get this Jawbone 2 to do the same. I followed the instructions but no go.

I've got a Jawbone 2 and the VAD worked for a day or two and then stopped.

I'm happy and a little embarrassed. As far has the Jawbone 2 goes and my situation, I was pressing the wrong button

"If it is the New Jawbone hold down the noise assassin button to initiate voice dialing [for about 1.5 seconds]. If it is an Original Jawbone press and hold the talk button to start voice dialing."

I have a 8110 Pearl and I have been doing what it says in the lit. that came with with my Jawbone 2, It says to press the talk button for 2 seconds, I have not been able to make it work.
So I guess I will try the Noise Assassin button. I hope it works, Thanks

In order to do voice dialing from the Jawbone 2 you must press and hold the Noise Assassin button and if the phone has the capablilty to voice dial the phone will direct you to the function.

Voice dialing with my jawbone 2 and 8330 works great and always has.
One thing that I noticed is the voice dialing will not engage if the phone is in standby. Otherwise, it has never given me a problem and even understands me while I am in the work truck (pretty darn loud truck with a large Cat diesel directly underneath me).
