I am not sure about anyone else, but this beta operating system seems to be the fastest yet. It could just be me but the keyboard seems more responsive overall to anything touch related.

Hey, I don't have any bluetooth devices so I am not sure how this works, but our CEO just got a curve and has his Bluetooth headset. Everytime he has to resync it when he turn the earpiece back on after charging it over night. How do you make it autosync?

One thing I just noticed is when I lock my screen (Mine requires a password to unlock), if I just click the screen to bring up the options, instead of having Unlock, Emergency Call, and Cancel lined up very close in a row, it now has Unlock and Cancel with a good bit of space in between with Emergency Call at the bottom of the box that pops up.
I know it use to aggravate me that Emergency Call was so close and I always seem to press it on accident, but now it is not even close.
Very nice update for me.

Excellent! I am always ready to take the plunge. If anything goes wrong or I don't like it, I can always revert back to the previous version.

That was one of the most annoying things for me also. I really like the unlock dialog now.

Upgrade has some improvements, full qwerty keyboard when in portrait mode as and option for example. But this DID NOT fix the "media card inserted" then Verizon Wireless Logo screen following a battery pull issue. Oh well, maybe the next upgrade will address this problem.

Wirelessly posted (90000/9530; 15020.945.x14)
I was about to post a screenshot, but the keyboard doesn't show in the shot. Dang.

If you can connect to your work mail system remotely through a VPN connection so that your MAPI profile in Outlook is active in DM, you will not have to re-activate with BES. I upgraded mine this morning a work and did not need to re-activate myself. It does it automatically. I just make sure to do my upgrades either at work or through a VPN.

Wow, this has to be the best build yet! .. I am not having camera issues so far, and the device is super snappy. (I just did a clean restore of .85 prior) ... I wouldn't be surprised to see Verizon release something in the .9* soon ... Great Build!

Once a BB is paired with a Bluetooth device, it should sync automatically when they are turned on. I would post your question in the thread for Curve's since this thread is about the new operating system for the Storm.

I've been meaning to ask about this, and maybe this isn't the right thread to do it, but I've done 2 upgrades at work (to .85 and to .86) that resulted in me not being activated on the enterprise. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I understand why last night's upgrade kicked me off (since I was at home and not VPN'ed to work), but I am at a loss as to why the 2 previous upgrades kicked me off.
EDIT: Something just hit me. I am still using the same DM installation from my old "personal" BB, that I installed using the BIS option. Could that be the problem? Should I uninstall and reinstall using the BES option?

My observations
My observations after only 3 hours of use of .90
1. The first time I tried to use the camera it was "goofy". I am not going to bother explaining at this point. See second point.
2. After exiting the Camera and going back in everything was fine.
3. The camera is taking pictures MUCH more quickly. I really mean MUCH. IMHO.
4. The full keyboard in Portrait mode is easier to use than I thought it would be.
5. The letters on the keyboards, (all of them) are slightly bolder or heavier.
6. Screen lock/unlock is MUCH faster as well.
7. So far I have only one other oddity. The screen would not go to sleep. I locked it, unlocked it, and rotated it. Then I laid it down and waited... then it finally went to sleep. I am set for 10 seconds. This has only happened once so far.
8. The Application Center icon changed back to the original .65 icon.
9. After testing the Auto on/off once, the radios are on after the restart. Each of the builds after .65, after an auto on/off, the radios were off. I am delighted at this one.
More to come I hope.

Pretty pleased so far. Much cleaner than .86 for me. Also, the upgrade went smoother than any in the past. I really like the full keyboard in portrait, although I am not convinced I will be very efficient with it as I have big hands.
The camera is a second or so slower than .86 for me, but really a non-issue. The first couple of pictures I took, it would not automatically save them. However, it self corrected some how and now works as it should and I did not adjust or play with it at all to try and fix it.
Also, the keys on the full QWERTY, while in landscape mode, seem bigger to me. This may not be the case and just a trick my eyes are playing on me. Other than that I am very pleased with the responsiveness of the entire OS. Seems much cleaner than the previous ones. If anything comes up I will let everyone know!
