It appears that from time to time the streaming capabilities between the pc running orb and the bb handheld don't connect on the first try or responds with a red error message. To fix this close all apps, power down, remove the battery (I did for 20 seconds) power the bb handheld back up and you are on your way. It reconnects on the first try after that no problems. This may be a error as a result of the QuickPull program I am running in the background. Further testing is in order.

I would start with checking the setting of the browser and media player. I need to look back but i changed something that enabled either continous playbay or told the application to force the stream and recieve but take no action.

I can stream, get texts, surf the web and use messenger with no problem.
Although if i visit a website with high graphical content the performance takes a hit.

I will get back with you.

Sirius has updated some of the channel line up. You may need to update the links you have used within orb to reactive the correct streaming.

Default xm on bb

does anybody know if this is a free app? I used to use "musicdock" on my palm treo, it took you to the logon screen on xmradioonline. you entered your standard username and password and off you go.

Now it looks like xmradio has an app for bb that they want to charge you 7.99/mo for but it doesn't say whether that service would be included if you have an online account.

I'm also not thrilled to hear you have to have a computer on somewhere that has usirius running?? not sure if I heard that one right.

Sitting in an airport and being able to go to a website and listen to xm was great. does anybody have any experience with "orb" and "usirius"?? Why 2 apps? is it free? why do you need another computer running this program simultaneously??

thanx in advance - dale

DirtyPirate, after installing orb, and uSirius, I enter my login settings to Sirius, select start and get an unable to login message and Status Server is not running.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

You must pay for sirius internet. It is not free to sirius subscribers anymore.
