Nope, AT&T wants you to pay for their TeleNav program, so they hide BB Maps. The only way to use Maps is to use a different theme than AT&T's. Why do you have to switch back and forth? Why don't you just keep it on the other theme?

you can use it with the att theme. just delete the vendor.xml file in the desktop manager folder that you installed before updating.

No, the ATT theme will not give you the BB Maps icon. You must use a different theme.

Wirelessly posted

If you look around I am certain that you will find a theme similar to the att theme, then you could set it up the way you like and not have to bother going back and forth. That would be very annoying.

Sounds to me like att is a real pain in the *ss! Glad we don't have them here in Canada.

Just go to m.google.com/maps on your BB and there should be a link to download it to your phone.

Is it possible to delete the ATT Nav VPL entry from the Service Book?

By doing so, perhaps the BB Maps will show up as the default Map application whilst on ATT theme?

Just guessing here...
