hey guys... thanks for all the help. i'm loving 4.5! question though. i resent the service books and got the HTML option in messages. hotmail is not 'push' though. do i need to remove the account and enter it again in order to get that going?

thanks!

Did you install DocsToGo? On many 4.5 OS versions it's there, but the checkbox is unchecked. Go back through the DM and make sure it's checked to install...

And the yellow pages icon is a push thing, so until you re-register with the AT&T network, you won't see it... but it will be baaaaaack.

Yep you can erase the old OS after you're up and running on the new one.
I keep the most recent 2-3 OS versions "just in case".

Only if worry about it if you have a problem I have 2 Berries and have done 4 or 5 OS upgrades between them in the 4.5.x line and have not manually resent the service books yet. For the most part its all automagic.

Default 2 BBs on same pc?

can I use the same PC and DM to upgrade 2 BBs? I want to upgrade both of our BBs to 4.5 and don't want to add DM to both of our PCs

I only have 1 Windows PC left, and that is what I do. There is no limit to the number of Berries per PC that I know of.

I am not to familiar with this subject. I have previously updated to v4.5.0.81.

Is this update to 4.5.0.152/4.5.0.110 a higher version ?
What are the benefits or changes from the version I have and the "newest" ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes it appears the volume issue has been given some attention on this upgrade...it may not be as loud as 4.2 but the sound has much more depth and clarity that is worth making note of...a very crisp clean sound I must say, with improved volume that I can live with...if you look at my past postings I've been very critical on the 4.5 volume..and with this build they have inched closer to correcting those concerns in my book

Also, the browser is much faster loading...I like that.. my email is faster..
110 build seems to be a good one,and seems to be worth the wait!!! ...waiting to see on the memory leakage.

and yes it has a video camera

If anyone is wondering if they should upgrade to v4.5.0.110...go for it AT$T gave us some love !!!!

**EDIT******EDIT****
Tested next to a co-workers 8310 with OS v4.2.170 and his volume level is much louder than my updated OS v4.5.0.110 but the .110 is a bit more tolerable than the earlier versions of 4.5,they could stand to turn the knob to the right just a bit more and I would be satisfied

hey everyone I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue i did when they upgraded. When I did this through DM i backed up all my files and 3rd party apps but after the upgrade not one of them was there. I've had to go in manually and reload all of them. then when I had to reconnect my phone to upload some apps through DM it started to reupgrade my phone even tho I just did it!?!?!? Anyone else have this happen and if not can someone tell what I did wrong so I don't do it again and have to keep reupgrading everytime I wanna load something through DM?
Thanks for the help!!

Yes 4.5.110 is an upgrade to 4.5.0.81. and is worth the time to upgrade.

If you did a back up your self with DM,look on your computer for the .ipd file,If you backed up your third party apps it should be in a separate backup folder with your pin # your apps should be in that folder..

Kase511, I am not sure what you did wrong, other than maybe there is a checkbox which is automatically checked, to allow an automatic backup and restore of existing data.
