Operates in same fashion as the weatherbug. Icon changes gives you the current temp and conditions.without clicking on the icon

Thanks for the info and image. Strange that I still, after several full days now, haven't seen this show up. Anyone with a Bold have this show up? If so, is the icon matched to the stock icons?

IMHO this is not worth using right now...The Accu updates maybe twice in a 24hr period

Default Icon

Ok, now that I got the Icon to show up on the home screen and the weather seems to be working, how do I get the Icon off the home screen if I want to delete it. The program does not show up on desk top.

Never mind I found it!!!

So I'm clear... you are referring to the new Web Signals, or the older Push?

If the Web Signals updates twice in a 24 hour period, just like the older Push, then this is indeed a waste and nothing new.

Yes Iam talking about the web signal..this is pretty much useless info far as the accuweather!

I set up the feature yesterday but no weather info yet
When I try to subscribe by clicking the "accept" link, a page shows up stating I should first accept the terms and agreements by clicking accept, which I just did! Seems that the "accept" link doesn't work. I sent an email to Accuweather to let them know about the issue I'm having, but have not yet received a response.

I'm using PocketDay now, which updates every hour and is fully customizable. It has radar but it is not animated. Still want to give Accuweather a try.

I have given up on Accuweather, and Web Signals in general. This is a joke, and is nothing new over the older push info already offered.

I have never received an icon for the Accuweather Web Signals, and if it updates twice in a 24 hour period, the data is useless anyway. BBWeather works perfectly, updates every 15 minutes, and is free. Very disappointed that Web Signals are so poorly implemented.

Thank you for doing more than me on this. I assume these products will improve in time.

I have tried several weather programs including Accuweather and BBWeather.

Never could get AccuWeather to work and apparently there is some type of conflict with BBWeather and my carrier (Centennial Wireless).

I finally went with the VIIGO program which is an excellent multi purpose program with a very good weather application.

I also went with WeatherEye which has been working very well. The only issue with WeatherEye is that it is Canadian based and you may have to set another city as your home town whcih is what I had to do. I just used one of the National Weather Station cities about an hour away from me.

My primary desire in the weather programs is access to accurate and updated radar views. I ride a motorcycle and we ride a lot and I like to know when to take a detour, hunker down somewhere or make alternate plans if the weather is looking hazardous. Both of these programs VIIGO and WeatherEye have provided what I have been looking for.

I signed up for the push weather and the past 45 minutes plus, my send/receive arrows on my 1XEV have been flashing like I am getting something but nothing shows up, the incoming arrow has been flashing for a solid 45 minutes non stop so I assume there is some data transfer taking place. I am on the everything plan from Sprint so I don't care about data use, but it would be nice to know if something is actually going to happen or am I just draining my battery for nothing?
