Why does it take so long to get my mail? some times it takes more then 30 mins before i see my mail on my BB....

Are you on BIS or BES?

BES should be near real time. BIS typically takes 15 minutes or so. Also, make sure that you have "Leave Messages on Server" selected on your PC email client so mail can go to your PC and the BB.

Wow, this is quicker then my BB....I am on BIS.
It was OK till I did the upgrade 2 weeks back, but have noticed lately, when i am on my computer that the mail arrives and it takes about 30 or more mins for it to hit my BB.

What upgrade are you talking about? Can you specify details, otherwise it is difficult to help.

upgraded to 4.0.190... I have 4 mails still on my computer which have still not arrived on my BB and its been more then 35mins.
Do you think I should uninstall and reinstall it.

Did you resend your service books and who is your provider, for email.

yes I have done that many times and the service provider is vodafone (UK).

Is it set up for POP or Imap, Pop should be alomst instant, Imap is back and forth.

it is set on the Imap, and have had no problems till lately.

I have the same problem with OS 190.

Prior to upgrading, I'm getting gmails almost instantly.
Now it's takes 15-30 minutes..

Hope there's a fix for this..
