T-Mobile users: One month later, how is everyone?
Please Login to Remove!
It's been a month since T-Mobile upgraded its blackberry email.
T-Mobile users: it is time to let T-Mobile, RIM and rest of us know your opinion. Not first or second day problems and issues, but what do you think about it now and how do you like it today.
Tell them if you like or dislike it, and why.
Post your feedback here. They read Blackberry forums.

I don't like it at all! I hate the fact that I can't check my email while away from my handheld. The other options that I've read up on to change this issue just aren't as good or, in my opinion, risky.
On top of it all I don't like the html issue, I get html emails and I try to forward them but all I get in the forwarded mail are a bunch of html links and everything is distorted due to this. I thought it was all minor problems until I tried rebooting and wiping/reinstalling multiple times.
I know all the bugs will be fixed eventually, I've seem quite a few on my 7100, my question is. When?
They should bring it back, but for all I know they could be planning for something much bigger and need to shut down the service.

It's not as bad as it could be, but it does leave something to be desired over the older service.

I like it better now. After 2 weeks of bugs it now works perfectly. I use gmail and yahoo so I have no issue with needing to check my mail when I am away from the BB.

I hate it. 90% of my emails come to me have a subject line, and no text. T-Mobile and RIM have been working on this problem since the service was switched over, but still nothing.

I have a 7100t and have a BES account and one BIS account. No problems whatsoever. On the positive side, as far as the change goes, I like the fact that the actual address I'm sending from shows up in the email instead of just webclient.

No problems, I have 1 BES account and 1 Yahoo for personal mail. It is really like having two BES account so I really have no complaints.

After a few bumps in the first few days, all seems to be working well with Gmail, Yahoo, redirected from work and another POP.

It is working fine for me but I just have my corporate mail forwarded to the tmo address. On the plus side, I like being able to reconfigure accts on the handheld. Also, as above, the ability to see and change the from address on the fly is a positive.

One BES account, and a yahoo on BIS. Absolutely love it.
Like the ability to choose account to send from, delete from handheld and/or desktop.

For how I am set up, I like it better. I don't miss the old web interface (it didn't work with Mozilla) since my mail provider has a web interface.
What I do VERY MUCH like is the fact that when I read or delete a message from my BlackBerry, it shows as read or deleted on my mail server. I love this.
At first I thought that using IMAP (versus push mail from @tmo.blackberry.net) would by annoying, but it does seem to check every 5-minutes or so. I can wait 5-minutes. But they should have a way to manually force a check from the handheld.

From the BB unit, I see no change. Besides the web page is disabled, what is new on the handheld and where in the handheld I can adjust settings?

+ nice to have a built-in drop-down for "from" address
+ nice to be able to delete messages from the BB
- no way to check tmo.blackberry.net address if your BB is out of service area
- annoying that when composing a new email, the default option is 'Web Client', which gives an error when trying to send an email - so i have to change this option for every email i compose....unless i'm missing a place where i can change the default of this, it's really annoying!!!

You can delete the webclient service book. It is no longer needed and in your case, a pain to still have.

It can be changed in you email setup options. When you set the Reply to of your tmo.blackberry.net address to some other mail (mine is gmail) that is the address others will see when sending mail.

I love it. I have my BB poll several POP and IMAP accounts, and the ability for me to reply withthe proper From: address is a godsend.

Did you do anything special to be able to delete messages from the handheld? I have my Blackberry set to delete both places but the messages on Yahoo are never deleted?
