Hello All,

I just purchased a 7520, primarily for the bluetooth features which I've waited and waited for Nextel to offer on their phone lines. My question is does the 7520 have voicetags that can be added to a users name so that by just saying that name it automatically dials? If it does I haven't found it. With the HS850 headset it would be nice to just say the name to have it dial, without having to fumble with the unit itself.

On a different not the holder that comes with the BB is horrible. Trying to get the BB out, is a nightmare. Anyone recommend a replacement?

Thanks

Not to mention the stock holster scratches the BB. I have the following holster....

Thanks for the info. I'm really disappointed about no voicetags. It sounds like it should be just a software feature, I would think all the hardware is there to record.

I agree that it is a bummer that you can't use voice tags, but you have all those letters that you can use to set speed dials and that makes it pretty easy with minimal "device fumbling".

I found it hard to remove my 7520 from the holster at first too, (much stickier than the 7510) but it loosens up after a while.

When I had Sprint, voice dialing was a network feature and was handset independant. you just dialed a special code and it prompted you for the name. Perhaps now that we are all so lucky to have Sprint (together with Nextel) they will grace us with that feature.

This is the same case that I use - but I have noticed that it creates a shiny line along the sides from going in and out of the case. Granted this is better than scratches or being beat up, but it also creates a mark on the BB.

sprintel is considering adding a voice dialing for the BB but it will be for a fee. isnt it always?? it will do some extra cool things though too not just dial. for example you could voice activate it to go out and get sports scores and things like that. it would work with the web too. lets keep our fingers crossed

Please do not think I am questioning your comment, just want to read it for myself. Where did you read or hear that? Do you have a link?
