i know you can replace the top housing, but is there another simpler alternative to this. because the top housing consists of a huge piece (like the frame of the phone). i noticed that it is basically a plastic piece with a rubberized tape pasted on. is there any way to buy some sort of rubberized tape and stick it on the top. thanks

i peeled it all off, it actually looks better in my opinion
