Hello, I'm sorry we didn't get back to you in time. We make an effort to reply to all emails very fast. But we have been gettingover 100 emails a day, so we may have missed yours, and again I'm very sorry. I can tell you that yes we can unlock your device, and we could do it quite fast, about 24 hours. Use a discount coupon in one of the members signatures and you can get it quite cheap. And again, I'm ver sorry for the delay in responding.

haha no no i wasnt saying it was bad that you responded, i know that your site must easily get hundreds of emails a day. i was just thought that the reason gsmphone responded so quickly because i jsut happened to message them just before they checked or something.

24 hours and 10% off eh?... you may be getting an order from me quite soon...

assuming i can cancel from that seller on ebay

We try to keep our customers happy and coming back. If you need anything at all you can email me right from my signature and ill personally respond to you. Thanks again

I still would like to hear from an actual successful user, not unlock code seller. Maybe soon? I will report when I get a code, and it works.

Well i can confirm that the devices (8220) are now in the database, we have unlocked quite a few successfully this week. Beginning of last week they were still not in the database, but they are now....

they are both reputable dealers. However, I can personally vouch for Horizon, as they gave me my unlock code for my Bold in less than 24 hours. They are extremely helpful and accessible. Just my 2 cents.

Ok, i might be doing this wrong, but how do i do this?

Unlock Instruction for Blackberry 8100 Pearl, 8110, 8120
***** You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps (Can be active or inactive) *****
1) Go to Settings Menu => and then Options
2) Select Advanced options => and then Sim Card
5) Type MEPPD (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPPD)
6) Type MEPP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2 (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPP2)
6) Enter the Unlock Code
7) Press Enter (You can use the track ball as well)
8) Device is now unlocked

those are the instructions im using. i have a question on step 5/6 where do i type meppd / mepp2

and when i type my unlock code, will i see what im typing then?

Last edited by Noctem; 10-21-2008 at 11:17 AM.. Reason: and do i have to type in caps for MEPPD and MEPP2?

Hi guys, i just wanted to clarify something for y'all....

The 8220 unlocking seems to be similar to the 8320 scenario, about 50% are in the database, and 50% are NOT in the tmobile database. Those that ARE NOT Found, we can still get the codes so don't be frustrated, but it can take 2 weeks.
On our site, search NOT FOUND, and use one of our many discount codes to save a few $.

My unlock worked fine. Bought it off eBay at around 9:00 PM, received the code by 10:00 AM the next day!

HorizonWireless unlocked a Rogers 8220 in about 5 hours this weekend. Worked like a charm, price was low, I recommend them.
