Charging Issue?

So my BB 8310 Curve was not very old. Got it in late March of this year. Anyhow, I could charge it and it would last 3-4 days with normal use. Not a big chatter or texting type person. Do some games and applications and then the phone calls. Anyhow, every night, I would plug it in just out of habit. All went well until just over a month ago where now, most of the time, a full charge (or as indicated on the phone) may not even hold a charge for a full day with very minimal use. Went to my local AT&T store and we started by replacing the battery. Still.... no luck. Same behavior. There has been 3-4 instances where it would seem to have actually lasted on a single charge for more than a day or two based on the battery indicator and the time of day. I really don't want to switch out the phone if I don't have to. Have tried everything I could read and think of, but still no good results. Am I down to just replacing the phone? Any further ideas?
