On OS 4.3. Is this solved in 4.5? I read that some people had this problem even in 4.5. It is really annoying!

If you are running 4.3 and reformated the memory card, maybe an incompatibility exists between the phone and card or the card is not up to spec.

Forgot to mention, this card came out of an 8100 that I replaced with the 8110. Never had the problem with the 8100.

Smile Here's what worked for me

I was having this problem as well and it was driving me crazy. I tried following the instructions found in other posts but none seemed to help. During one of the many format/copy sessions, I put the card into my windows PC and formatted it there. Then I did a surface scan and it found errors which it marked. I then put the card back in the phone but didn't reformat it, and began to copy my stuff back. It's been running fine ever since. The media player scan completes successfully and all of my media is accessible.
