Are there any software issues that would cause the "End Call/Power" key to stop working? That is the only key that does not work on my keypad. If not, I'm guessing my keypad is defective. I have tried switching themes and I don't have any non-oem applications installed. Any thoughts?

Have you tried a hard reset (Battery pull while the device is on)?

yea i have the same thing wrong with my blackberry Pearl 8100 too. Its just mine talkes like 20 seconds before it says "turning handheld off" wats wrong with it??? and yes i did i battery pulls everyday. it still does not work like it used to be4 i used to press it for like 5 seconds and it would turn off. please help me
