Unhappy Issues backing up Bold with Desktop Manager 4.6

Please Login to Remove!

Trying to backup my client's new Bold device with Desktop Manager 4.6 and it chokes when it tries to backup the Custom Words Collection and backup does not proceed. Client had one word in his list. Removed word and tried again, same error. Has anyone had this kind of issue with the Bold or with Desktop Manager 4.6. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Do a search. Been discussed a lot. Seen in a number of platforms. Corrupt databases. Mine was in "Location Based Services". When I upgraded to 4.6.0.162, databases were rebuilt and it is all good now.

Or is it your browser cache? this seems to cause alot of problems, just clear it out and try to back up again, should fix the problem.

I think the later DM's must do more consitency checks on the data. That's possibly a good thing. Or would be if there was some kind of database 'repair' utility to go with it :-|
