uhh... my blackberry charges and works just fine with my ubuntu 8.04 hardy heron.... did i miss something?

But you can't synchronize your contacts, can you? Never mind calendar and e-mail.

Working with : like synchronization and loading applications without trouble.

Mandriva has some beta buggy attempt at synchronization. That's all. Loading applications is inexistent.
