A couple of questions:

1. Why do you think RIM is so slow to support 3G (GSM) on its BlackBerry models?

I know RIM provide 3G on Verizon and Sprint (not GSM) models and that the Bold with 3G (GSM) is eventually coming to AT&T but RIM are rumoured to be releasing new Pearl and Javelin models and these phones do not include 3G support in their specifications.

It seems a little strange to me.

I can understand it somewhat from a battery life perspective but many people are now used to charging their phones each night.

2. Also, why do RIM release some phones with 3G but not Wi-Fi, e.g. per the rumours around the specifications for the BB Storm for Verizon?

3. Why is RIM rumoured to only be including a 2MP camera in the BlackBerry Bold? 2MP seems a little outdated. Purely cost?

Why aren't you asking RIM? They've been slow to adopt many new features. The only way to get an accurate answer is to ask them.

Again, no telling without asking RIM. I don't see the point in fixating on the number of MP's in a camera phone. Poor optics and poor sensors are the truly limiting factors.
